Tangawizi Tea (Ginger Tea)

Ingredients
- •2 cups water
- •1 large piece fresh ginger (about 5cm), peeled and grated
- •2 teaspoons loose black tea or 2 tea bags
- •1 cup milk
- •Sugar to taste
- •Lemon wedge (optional)
Instructions

Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.

Add grated ginger and boil for 3 minutes to release the flavour.

Add tea leaves or bags and boil for another 2 minutes.

Pour in milk and bring back to a gentle boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes until the tea is rich, creamy, and fragrant.

Strain into cups and add sugar to taste.

Serve with a squeeze of lemon for extra zing if desired.
