Ingredients
- •2 whole tilapia, cleaned and scored
- •Juice of 2 lemons
- •1 teaspoon turmeric
- •1 teaspoon cumin
- •1 teaspoon paprika
- •3 cloves garlic, minced
- •Salt and pepper to taste
- •Oil for frying
Instructions

Clean the fish and make diagonal cuts on both sides to help the marinade penetrate.

Mix lemon juice, turmeric, cumin, paprika, garlic, salt, and pepper together.

Rub the marinade all over the fish, inside the cuts and in the cavity.

Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

Fry fish for 6-8 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with kachumbari, ugali, and lemon wedges.
